Depot Express

Constructed in 1907, the Great Northern Passenger Depot in Alexandria was designed to be of the finest railway stations in Minnesota and the Midwest. When converted in 1984 to the Depot Express Restaurant & Saloon, the owners remodeled to make it more like the original depot, with a touch of new.

As you pass by on the Central Lakes Trail (the former Burling Northern Railroad bed), why not stop in for lunch, dinner or a cold beverage? You can enjoy your fare on the outside patio overlooking Lake Agnes.
